I didn't let the bloke get a word in, just went straight in with "WHATS YOUR NAME AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?" When he said I was being rude, I told him to "go jump in a lake". Yeah, got him blocked sharpish after that.

Last night, I got a call from this number and they wanted to speak to a Mr something. As soon as I told them they’d got the wrong number, they corrected themselves and said Miss. They claimed they were from Legal and General or something like that.

They kept calling me for ages so eventually answered after ignoring them a bit. Pretty clear it was a call centre. Got the typical cheerful chatter like "how’s your day going?" and all that. Then they claimed to be some kind of life insurance assessors. I told them I’d just renewed my policy and was fine with it. They then insisted it wouldn’t cover me properly and tried to reassure me they’d fix everything. Yeah right, had a good laugh and just hung up. Done with it. Blocked them straight away!

Picked up the phone and all I got was an automated voice telling me thanks for calling and to shoot an email to a Hotmail address if I want the calls to stop. Honestly, pretty unsettling.
