Just had a peculiar call around half eleven this morning. An operator with a strong accent from the Far East claimed to be calling on behalf of BT. She mentioned something about my computer supposedly sending out alerts about dubious activity (not her exact phrasing, mind you!). Apparently, they needed to shut it down today. I told her I was stepping out, as it all seemed a bit dodgy to me. She insisted she'd get back in touch, but honestly, I’m not keen on any further communication!
