I received a call from someone pretending to be my grandson, cheekily introducing himself as the most handsome one! He was after some cash, though I swiftly ended the conversation. Mind you, I don't have any grandsons at all!

My mum receives calls from this number at least once or twice every week, claiming to be her grandson. The caller often says he’s either in prison, in hospital, or desperately requires funds for a lawyer. However, as soon as either my sister or I pick up the phone, they hurl insults and promptly end the call. It's quite distressing!
