I got a call supposedly from BT, warning me my internet was about to be disconnected. Problem is, I don't even have BT internet! When I asked who was on the line and their number, the person responded with a rude insult in what sounded like an Asian accent. Classic scam attempt. The number they dialled was my elderly mother-in-law’s, thankfully I picked up so she didn’t have to deal with it. What a bunch of con artists.
