They've been ringing me non-stop for the last few days using different phone numbers. Definitely some sort of online scam. I've been blocking each one as they come through, but they just keep calling from new numbers. Better not pick up at all.

There was this noisy call centre buzzing in the back, and a guy with an Indian accent said he was ringing from BT. Totally a dodgy scam - he wanted to get into my computer or something. I played along to waste some time, then they put me through to some 'manager.' The bloke got quite nasty once he twigged I was messing with them. Honestly, what kind of people are these? How do they manage to sleep at night?!

Since last week I've been getting more than 15 missed calls from this number and others that look almost the same. I've got call blocking and call announcements on my phone, so they don't disturb me much, but my blocked list is getting bigger every day. They usually ring me sometime between 10:30 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon!

They've rang my landline four times now, but I just ignore it. The TPS couldn't care less when I told them, and honestly, trying to get the call centre to sort it out is a total pain. Might have to report it to the police next time because this is getting ridiculous.

Got a couple of calls from this number today - I let the second one ring out. It was a bloke with a foreign accent saying he was from BT, talking about viruses and dodgy files. I've had similar calls from loads of different numbers all with the same spiel about fixing your computer by taking control of it. They must reckon we're daft or something! Best thing is just to hang up or not pick up at all.

Today I got 3 calls all about my wifi supposedly having issues. I rang a BT 0800 number and spoke to them, they said they’d block the calls on their end but admitted BT wont do much to actually stop it since it means they’d miss out on cash. #BT #NoHelpFromBT

Loads of these calls happen because folks pick up! When you answer, it tells their auto-dialler that the number's active, so it keeps ringing again and again until someone actually talks to them. IF YOU KEEP PICKING UP, THEY WON'T STOP! Best thing is to just not answer if you don’t recognise the number, especially if it’s showing as an overseas call. If you just let those strange numbers ring and don’t pick up, eventually the system will remove your number after a few tries.

Got a bloke from India ringing me, claiming he's from TalkTalk tech support, saying my router's full of problems. He wanted me to type things into my computer like I’m daft or something! I’m so fed up with these calls - every time I block one number, they just call from another. Even though I’ve blocked unknown numbers, they somehow still manage to get past! TalkTalk don’t seem to care or offer any help at all >:(

I got a call from someone pretending to fix my computer, but it was just a scam to try and hack me. Best thing to do is just end the call and block the number right away.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking for the homeowner, she correctly said my name. When I told her I wasn’t here, she wanted to know who I was. I said I’d rather not say and hung up. Then she rang again shortly after, this time asking for someone else, guessing maybe a husband or partner. I told her no one by that name lived here, and she just ended the call.

I got a call today from someone called Jack Hall claiming he was from BT, warning me my broadband would be cut off tonight due to some corruption issue. When I asked for more details, he just said there was a problem but wouldn’t explain further. I told him I’d ring BT myself because I wasn’t convinced, and he just ended the call. What’s odd is that even though the number looked like it was from Carmarthen, it showed up as an international number. Yesterday, I also had a missed call from 01267253187 which hung up before I could answer. Both numbers are now blocked. This is really frustrating as we’re registered with the TPS, but it feels like it makes no difference at all.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT, mentioning problems with my internet. Funny thing is, just the day before a BT engineer had been at my place sorting out the broadband. I almost hung up straight away, but she kept asking if I owned a laptop or a PC. Got a call from someone claiming to be from "Talk Talk," sounded like a bloke from abroad. Said there was an issue with my router and wanted me to access a remote desktop site. I wasn’t convinced and questioned him. Then he started threatening me, saying he’d report my number, involve the police, cut my internet, and even block other providers from giving me service. I told him I was recording everything and that I'd hand it over to the cops. He just dismissed me and said I was making no sense.

Saw no reviews here so I thought I'd ring back, but the number wasn't even valid. It showed as from Wales, with a 22 prefix or something? If it was just a pesky call, not sure why bother then. Anyway, I’ve blocked it now on my phone.

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said he was from BT, talking about my internet. There was this weird pause before he spoke, which made me suspicious. I didn’t let him get another word in and just ended the call. BT isn't who I use for internet anyway. What’s odd is I got another call yesterday from the same area code but a different number, and my phone flagged it as an international call. I’ve gone ahead and blocked both of those numbers now.
