I got a call from someone about life insurance, claiming I might have paid too much. I told them I already have a financial advisor handling that stuff. When I asked who gave them my number, she said it was the life insurance company. I pressed her, saying so the company told you to call me, and she denied it. Then I asked why she was phoning me if not. Her answer? "It's my job." After that, she started calling me "my lovely," which really annoyed me. I told her not to use such patronising terms. After that, I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.
