Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, a very polite lady with an Indian accent. She told me my router was sending some error signals but couldn’t log in properly. Then she switched up and mentioned there’s some work on the network which was why my internet speed was rubbish. I told her I’d have a look myself using my app and would ring BT directly if there’s a real issue, then asked her to remove my number from their list so she doesn’t bother me again. After that, the line just cut off.
