got a call from what said it was amazon but seemed dodgy, automated voice, so i just ended the call straight away. definitely a scam trying to pull a fast one.

Someone rang me claiming to be from Amazon, saying I had to renew some subscription for like £79, but I’ve never actually signed up for anything like that. I just ended the call straight away. Still, I think I’ll follow your suggestion and get in touch with Amazon myself just to be on the safe side.
