This bloke was really long-winded, took ages before he got to what he wanted. It was a comparison firm, trying to check if I’d faced any gender bias in life insurance sales because of the new EU rules outlawing that sort of thing (apparently it’s bad for blokes since we don’t live as long). I told him flat out I’m not interested, but he just kept going on and on, even after I told him to bugger off and not ring me again. Eventually I just hung up while he was still yammering away. What’s worse, he called my mobile which is getting bombarded with rubbish calls now - someone must’ve nicked my number or something! Caller said they were with a comparison company. Proper annoying.
