The caller mentioned that I was eligible to make a claim for PPI linked to a loan from Santander. I clarified that I hadn’t actually taken out any PPI with that loan. They insisted that it was irrelevant. I appreciated the unsolicited advice but decided to pursue my claim directly with Santander. Then, rather rudely, they told me to get lost before abruptly ending the call. Charming conversation, really!
