Absolutely not! My family aren’t the sort to stoop low.

I’ve endured a year of absolute frustration with this shifty outfit. It’s nothing short of advance fee fraud-plain and simple. You can wave goodbye to your £499 the instant you hand it over to them. They’ll assure you in the first call that your funds are safeguarded under section 75, but that only holds water if you actually receive WRITTEN confirmation that your claim has been processed. And here’s the kicker: despite countless phone calls and emails, that documentation never arrives. Your only option is to reach out to the financial ombudsman. I wouldn’t be surprised if they change their name and relocate their premises again in the coming months!

I've also fallen victim to a scam involving someone named Lloyd Lay. I really ought to have done my homework online before agreeing to anything. I attempted to cancel my card, but the bank told me it’s a matter I need to sort out directly with the merchant. Just a word of caution to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

Just a quick note regarding the numbers 0844 669 9960 and 01267228400. It’s a heads up about a fraudulent PPI claims outfit, now operating under the guise of ULegaI. I strongly advise against giving them any sort of agreement or sharing your banking details, especially if they request a £1 payment to validate your account or urge you to sign a contract. I recently discovered that my husband fell for this and now we’re left to untangle the chaos! One section of their contract alarming states: “We shall charge your account £495 within 72 hours post our phone call, following the delivery of pre-contract information to you and solely after receiving your signed engagement letter..." Let’s not forget, folks, you can sort this out without spending a penny!

Greetings Mrs O'Reilly, I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out regarding the sum of £495.00 that was withdrawn from my account back in April 2015, purportedly by Mr David Rushton. This transaction occurred without my consent or prior awareness, which seems rather dubious. I would appreciate clarity on whether this amount will be refunded into my account. Additionally, I would like to request a formal letter confirming this situation to be sent to my address at Mrs M O'Reilly, dated 21st April 2016, as I am considering further steps to resolve this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I received a call a fortnight ago from 01267 244 735. When I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. Shortly after, I got a text from them. I then tried the number (using a secure phone, mind you) and just got a tone indicating it was unobtainable or out of service. Not keen on dialing from my mobile! More recently, another number, 441267 221 881, has been ringing me incessantly, but given the poor mobile coverage at my workplace, it’s difficult to catch the call. They sent me a text saying I’d missed a call from the same number. They certainly seem determined; it's a classic ploy to scam as many unsuspecting individuals as they can before disappearing entirely!

I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise, regardless of whether they display on my screen. So, I passed on this one as well. If it were legitimate, surely the caller would have taken the time to leave a message, but alas, that wasn't the case here. I’ve encountered another dubious number too - 01267226763. What a nuisance!

I recently had a rather intriguing encounter with a firm named Scarlet Financial, where I spoke to a chap named Floyd Lay. He came across as quite credible, but while I was left on hold, I took the opportunity to do a bit of digging. They claimed they could assist me in recovering PPI and various charges I’ve incurred over the past fifteen years, which sounded rather enticing at first. However, when he brought his manager into the conversation, things took a turn. The manager seemed rather keen to know where I’d sourced my information, and when I politely mentioned that I wasn't interested in their services any longer, he appeared rather miffed. With that, I decided to end the call.

Scarlet Reclaim, also known as Rosser, has rebranded itself as Thomson Legal. The only change appears to be their price hike - now they're charging £399 plus VAT to initiate what seems like a questionable claim, compared to the previous £299 for Scarlet Reclaim. It's outrageous that these opportunistic individuals are allowed to thrive. What on earth is the Ministry of Justice doing to let these charlatans operate unchecked?

I've received four calls from this number today, spaced about two hours apart. The caller hasn't bothered to leave any voicemail.

Gave me a bell, but hung up as soon as I picked up.
Best to steer clear of these digits!
