Kindly avoid calling this number again, as it’s my personal landline which scammers have somehow accessed. I’m currently dealing with TalkTalk to resolve the problem, but it looks like I’ll have to get a new number altogether. It’s really stressful having people ring up claiming they tried to contact me when my phone’s actually been disconnected, so I can’t even use it properly. Seems like there’s no hope of tracking down those responsible.

Got a call super early, like 7:10 this morning. From the sound of their voice, I knew it was just one of those annoying calls, so I didn’t bother with pleasantries and told them off. Never thought I'd get a call like that on a Saturday so early in the day!

Dont pick up or call back this number, its a trick. Some scammers from India are faking the caller ID to make it look like they are calling from this number (they call it spoofing). Its not really them, just innocent people’s phones getting used this way. These fraudsters have done this before, claiming to be from Microsoft, now they’re pretending to be from BT. There’s been news online about this scam going around again. So please, dont ring back, the real owner of this number has nothing to do with it and has probably had their number hijacked by scam callers in India.

Got two calls this Saturday morning, one at 7:15 and another at 8:10. They said it was BT about my internet, but I told them both to stop calling since they were scammers. Really annoying way to start the day!

I got a call from some bloke claiming to be with BT. When I called him out on it, he got really rude and started throwing insults at me. Definitely not what I’d call professional at all.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying they need access to all my internet-connected stuff. They called me like 5 times, which was pretty annoying. They told me hackers from outside the UK were trying to get into my computer, pointing to error messages and warnings in the event viewer as proof. It felt like a total scam.

I've had this number ring me four times over the past couple of days saying they're from BT. I decided to keep the caller on the line for a bit to hopefully stop other folks from getting bothered. Keep getting calls over and over, won't leave me alone. Some bloke with a foreign accent saying my internet's been hacked and keeps pushing me to turn on my device. Got really nasty when I said no. Told him to quit calling but he phoned me four times in a row, even when I answered and hung up. Always ringing my landline. Now I'm just bracing for the next one... yep, there it is again. Honestly, this needs to be sorted!

I got a call from 01264 733937, and some bloke said his name was Michael. He claimed he was ringing from BT. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if it was some kind of scam or just someone having a laugh. He started with, “Good morning Ma'am, I’m Michael calling from BT,” but I cut him off straight away, saying I didn’t think that was right. As soon as I said that, he just hung up on me right away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call at half past seven in the morning, but when I answered, it was dead silent. Looked up the number using 1471 and it showed as local, which made me think it was legit at first.
