Just got a call with an automated voice pretending to be from Amazon Prime. Reckon its dodgy cause it asked me to press 1 to speak to someone, and I could hear what sounded like a call centre in the background. I double-checked with Amazon and they said they don’t work like that, lots of people have been caught out by this scam. Definitely stay clear of it!

Got a recorded call saying it was from Amazon about my account being compromised. It happens pretty regularly and I have a feeling if I stayed on the line longer it’d try to get me to press something that’d lead to an expensive number. I just ended the call straight away. Seems unlikely Amazon would reach out like that anyway.
