Like others mentioned before, I got a call from a woman with an American accent saying something about my account being compromised in California. It didn’t sit right with me, so I just ended the call.

had this weird automated lady with an american accent saying something like that. it went, “press 1 for this, press 2 to not hang up” or something along those lines. didn’t catch it properly cos my grandson answered straight away. it’s really unsettling, especially for older folks or those who aren’t that tech savvy. not something anyone should have to deal with.

got a call from an indian lady with a recorded message saying she was calling from BT. she told me my internet was gonna be cut off today since apparently my computer had been hacked by someone in california. quite suspicious if you ask me!
