I got a call from someone who spoke English with a strong foreign accent, said they were from Amazon. They wanted to check if I’d bought an expensive item, probably implying my account had been hacked or something. I quickly logged into my Amazon account and saw no unusual orders at all. Then, she said she’d ring me back on a clearer line. She hung up and called me straight away, but this time the number didn't appear on my phone. I didn’t want to bother with it any longer and just ended the call. Seems like a classic scam to me.
