I just received an unsolicited phone call from someone claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, trying to peddle the newest mobile phones and plans. It felt quite intrusive and bothersome, to be honest.

Some bloke rang me asking if I owned a washing machine, and I told him that wasn’t something I dealt with. Then when he kept going I told him I wasn’t a kid anymore and just ended the call. But then, within a couple of days, I started getting more calls saying I had supposedly agreed to take loads of calls. I told them I wasn’t interested and they did say sorry in the end.

Got a call today and I was pretty sure it was some sort of scam or just a way to grab info. I picked up just to mess around with them a bit. If you ask where they got your number or tell them to stop calling, they either get really rude or just hang up, which is ridiculous. Any decent company would simply apologise and remove you from their list without throwing insults. Honestly, best thing is not to give them any info at all. You can either ignore the call or pick up and have a laugh by wasting their time.

Received several calls from this number, but there's no one on the other end. It’s happened four times in the span of six days. Quite puzzling, really.

This number said they were from UK Savers and wanted me to do a survey. I didn't want to give them any info or verify anything, and after that, they got really rude with me.

Had no clue what she was on about, sounded like she was trying to do one of those personal info surveys again. I just dropped the phone and ended the call. Such a right annoyance.

So annoying! I told them I wasn’t interested and asked nicely to take me off their call list, but they just hang up on me. Then when I tried ringing back, no one picked up. Total waste of time.

total sc**mbags, these scammers are just trying to squeeze every bit of info outta you. when you call them out on their rubbish, they get proper nasty. best thing to do is mess with them loads, waste their time like they try to waste yours.
