9 yearsAbsolutely baffling start to the conversation! I had to ask the caller to take a breath and clarify their company name and the reason for their call three times before it made any sense. They mentioned something about a "National Survey" related to market research. Frankly, I told them to take my name off their marketing list, but they still had the audacity to ring me up again. I reiterated my request to be removed, and, just to make my point clear, I warned that if they called me a third time, I'd be charging them a rate of £10 per minute for my troubles. Well, wouldn’t you know it, they rang again, and I promptly informed them that this call was now costing them £10 a minute! They ended that call quicker than you could blink.
