I got an automated call claiming to be from BT, saying our broadband was gonna be cut off in 24 hours due to some sketchy activity. They told me to press 1 to speak to BT tech support and all that. I just hung up straight away. What threw me off was that the number was local, same area code as mine, so it felt kinda sneaky. It’s really annoying to get calls like that!
