I had a call from a fella who said he was with BT, but his accent was quite Asian. He told me my internet would be cut off in a month because some foreign IP was using my address. It sounded dodgy straight away. When I hinted I reckoned it was a scam, he started using all sorts of rude words, which convinced me even more he wasn’t really from BT. Total scam, no doubt.
