For the past few months, they’ve been ringing me quite often, claiming to be from TalkTalk and warning that my internet might be cut off. I never let the conversation go far enough for them to ask for my personal info, since it’s clearly dodgy. Whenever I’ve asked for their name and number so I can call TalkTalk myself to check, they just hang up. Even though I let them know I’m onto their scam, they still keep calling.

I got a call from someone saying they were TalkTalk, telling me my line was damaged and would be cut off if I didn't press 1 or 2 to fix it. What’s weird is this happened right in the middle of my actual ongoing conversation with TalkTalk’s tech support about a problem I’m having!

Got a robotic call with some weird American-sounding voice saying my router's IP got hacked or something, then telling me to ring a number to sort it out. Very dodgy if you ask me.
