I’ve received yet another call purporting to be from the fraud division of Amazon.co.uk, mentioning some odd “79.99 points” without specifying the currency-clearly a giveaway that something’s amiss! They’ve been pestering me all day, with the initial call landing at 8:14 in the morning. My advice is to steer clear of pressing any buttons to connect with an operator; just hang up and report the number instead. I’ve attempted to block them, but they just keep coming, as each of the six calls today has originated from a different number. Only the first was from a mobile, but every single call featured the same ridiculously rapid-fire automated spiel. Best to remain vigilant and ignore them!
