I just received a rather dodgy phone call from someone who insisted that our internet would be terminated within a day if I didn't press 1. He went on about representing Talk Talk, which is rich considering I'm not even with them! Utter nonsense-I've promptly blocked the number!

Got a call earlier from a bloke abroad. Funny thing is, just yesterday someone with a very similar number rang me, claiming they were from TalkTalk and was really pushy about something. That number was 0207 518 9765. Talked to TalkTalk themselves and they said it wasn’t them, so I reported it. Today I just hung up straight away, but I’ll be reporting it once more, just to be safe.

I've had quite a few missed calls from 01262 401372. Every time I pick up, there's just silence and then the line cuts off. When I try calling back, it just goes straight to a BT voicemail. really odd behaviour, not sure what's going on.

In the last year, I've had more than 100 calls from folks pretending to work for TalkTalk. These scammers always seem to have loads of my personal info. They've figured out that a lot of people block their numbers, so they use ones like this to make their calls seem more believable.

My mum got a call from a number asking about my dad, who's sadly passed away. When I rang the number back, it turned out to be someone's home phone. The bloke who picked up told me his number’s been hacked and used for scams. Poor guy!

Somebody rang me claiming to be from TalkTalk. The voice sounded foreign. I just hung up and later double-checked with TalkTalk directly, and they confirmed it wasn’t them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, but it’s a total scam. They said my internet would be disconnected today unless I paid up. Absolute nonsense, don’t believe a word of it!
