I received a recorded message that claimed to be from a banking institution, but curiously, they didn’t specify which one. The call stated they had halted some unauthorised payments to Amazon amounting to £300, along with an international transfer of £1100. They instructed me to press a certain digit to prevent these transactions and another to speak directly to someone. I reckon it's a dodgy scam, so I just terminated the call without pressing anything.
