I received two calls from this number - the first time I foolishly picked up and simply said "hello," only for them to hang up instantly. The second call came on the 5th of October, but I had my wits about me and chose not to engage. It's absolutely appalling that these lowlifes are masquerading as an animal charity. Legitimate charities pour their hearts and souls into their work, continually in need of support. AnimalsAsia is one that I contribute to regularly through direct debit, as I do with all my charitable donations. I sincerely hope that these fraudsters, along with anyone who preys on kind-hearted individuals, face the consequences of their actions.

Not long ago I put my name down for a petition opposing the bear bile trade, and then they gave me a ring asking for donations. At the time I was hesitant to give my number, but it was one of those fields that you had to fill in even though it didn’t say it was compulsory. After this, I think I’ll avoid petitions that make a phone number mandatory.

I've received a staggering 14 calls from this lot, each time pretending to be a different charity. It’s baffling, really! I'm convinced it should only be one charity reaching out, not a whole parade of them. Having worked with various charities in the past, I know they all had distinct contact numbers; it's just how it’s done. So, I'm done with this nonsense and have decided to block them. What a nuisance!

It purports to be Animals Asia, which is all well and good, but be wary-scammers can easily mimic a legitimate number. If you're considering making a donation, it’s wise to verify that it's truly their bank account you’re contributing to. It’s a worthwhile cause, don’t get me wrong!

Got a ring from this number around half eight tonight, but i cant block calls on my phone so i just marked it as a nuisance and left it. I used to give to them online, but then they began sending loads of letters as well as emails, which was annoying. Loads of these types keep hassling for more cash even if you already donate. After digging into it a bit, the stuff i found was pretty eye-opening - it looks like a scam to rake in more cash for their backers. People really need to be careful with these calls.
