This number rang me twice recently. The first time I naively said "hello," but they just hung up straight away. When they called again on 5th October, I ignored it because I was feeling a bit iffy about it. It's really upsetting to see these dodgy people pretending to be from an Animal Charity. Not long ago I put my name down for a petition opposing the bear bile trade, and then they gave me a ring asking for donations. At the time I was hesitant to give my number, but it was one of those fields that you had to fill in even though it didn’t say it was compulsory. I’ve gotten phone calls from them 14 times now, but each time they say they’re from a different charity. Got a ring from this number around half eight tonight, but i cant block calls on my phone so i just marked it as a nuisance and left it. I used to give to them online, but then they began sending loads of letters as well as emails, which was annoying. Loads of these types keep hassling for more cash even if you already donate. After digging into it a bit, the stuff i found was pretty eye-opening - it looks like a scam to rake in more cash for their backers. People really need to be careful with these calls.
