They said they were from Openreach and told me there was an issue with my broadband. Then they asked if I even used the internet, which was a bit odd. After saying they could fix it, I just cut the call. If there's really a problem, my usual provider would handle it, no need for random calls.

They use English names like Brian or Henry, but their accent sounds like the scammers you see on those YouTube channels like Scambaiter or Scammer Payback, kinda south Asian. It’s a proper giveaway.

Some bloke rang me from this number claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse. His accent was so heavy I struggled to understand him saying Car Phone Warehouse properly. He was offering some dodgy deal on my phone bills which seemed like a total scam. When I asked where he got my number from, he just cut the call straight away.

The text looked legit but the caller was definitely dodgy - even the message said NEVER share that code, not even with 02 staff. I've had a run-in with a bunch of chaps purporting to be from Car Phone Warehouse, asserting they could sort me out with a shiny new contract while simultaneously ditching my existing one. I mentioned that I've got a phone plan with Sky and a SIM from another provider, and they replied, "Not an issue! We'll handle the cancellation for both!" Absolute codswallop, if you ask me. They keep phoning me from various numbers - it’s quite the nuisance! When I pointed out that they don’t have my permission to use my information, they simply hang up and try again from a different line. I've had to block eight different numbers they've called from already!

She claimed to be from mobiles.co.uk after I kept asking for more info. At first, she kept saying it was some third party. Her English was quite bad, kept calling me sir even though I'm a woman. Tried selling an iPhone 13 with unlimited data for £30 a month. I said I’d look it up online and then she kept pestering me for my email. I just told her to get lost.
