I got a call from someone with a thick accent who sounded like they were shouting over a noisy office, claiming to be from Amazon. They told me I'd bought a £49 gift card on my Amazon account, which definitely isn't true. I didn’t hang about or let them talk any more - I just ended the call straightaway and looked at my Amazon account myself. Everything was normal, no sign of any gift card purchase. Amazon don’t do random calls like that, so I figured it was probably just a scam.
