Woke up at 7.45am to a bloke with a foreign accent claiming to be from “call preference ©”, promised no more scam calls from them. Asked if my visa card was still valid, then just hung up. He rang straight back seconds later, so I just blocked the number.

For the past few days, this number kept popping up as a missed call, so one time I decided to pick up out of curiosity. At first, there was some music playing, then an Indian voice came on saying good morning and that they were from something called call preference management. Didn’t sound legit to me, so I just ended the call and blocked it straight away.

Got a call from someone with a typical Indian accent, and she couldn’t even remember my name. Claimed she was Andrea from some call blocking company. When I started asking questions, she just hung up on me.

Nothing was said or left on the voicemail. Luckily I have caller ID, so I just ignore it.

Got a call today at 12:17pm, and the moment I picked up, all they said was 'goodbye'. Didn’t bother wasting time and just went ahead and blocked the number.
