They kept asking me for the name of my business but got it wrong. When I corrected them, they just asked what the actual name was. Then they gave me the final 3 digits of my phone and said I qualified for some "amazing" deal 🤷‍♂️. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call, then blocked the caller.

Go Connect called me saying I qualified for a better business deal. I told the bloke straight away that the company he mentioned definitely doesn’t handle my mobile contract - it’s through a completely different provider, which I refused to share details about as mine’s pretty good! When he tried to negotiate with EE on my behalf, I made it clear I only deal directly with the main company, not some third party. The guy was pushy, kept going even after I kept saying “I’m not interested, do you get it?” Eventually, I told him I was ending the call and blocked the number.

Someone said they were from EE, trying to get me to upgrade my “business account”. They asked for my postcode, so I flipped it and asked them to tell me mine instead. They said they couldn’t, but could name the street I lived on. When they did, it was a really outdated address that I know they must have pulled from some directory, like the yellow pages or something. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
