I picked up and said "hi", but there was nothing but quiet on the other end. Ended up blocking the number.

They rang up asking to talk to the homeowner. I bluntly told them "No, you're just a cold caller, sod off." (Not my proudest moment, I admit). Right after, they phoned again straight away and began shouting abuse at me. Then they kept ringing two more times, throwing all sorts of insults like c*** and f****** b*tch my way. It just went on and on.
