I keep receiving calls from this number, but as soon as I pick up, they just cut off. What’s all that about?

This number has rung me for the last three days in a row. I couldnt pick up any of the times and they never left a message. Pretty sure it’s not something urgent or from someone I recognise so I’ve just blocked it.

picked up to check who was ringing and they said it wasnt a sales pitch, just a quick survey asking me to verify some details. i ended the call pretty quick and blocked the number, but like most spam calls, they ll probably ring from a different number next time.

Got a random call from a number I didn’t recognise. I picked up but just held the phone oddly without saying anything. The caller hung up after about 3 seconds, and there was a clicking noise that made me think it was from a call centre or something.
