Someone rang me out of the blue asking for details about a car crash I supposedly had not long ago and wanted to know the date. We went back and forth a bit until they claimed they had an official accident report. I told them if that were true, they'd already know which car I was driving. Oddly, they just cut the call right then. Total bunch of dodgy scammers, honestly.
