someone called saying they were with bt and claimed there was an issue with my internet. they wanted me to switch my laptop on so they could sort it out. i was a bit suspicious and told them to call me later. after that, i phoned bt myself and they confirmed it was a scam, trying to get into people’s computers. the police have been informed and are investigating.
