I got a voicemail saying it was from BT about some kind of issue, but I'm not a BT customer so I just ended the call.

Got a call just before 8.30 in the morning, and there was this recorded voice saying it was from BT, mentioning some kind of problem. I didn’t bother staying on the line and just hung up. Definitely wasn’t BT.
