Total waste of time to pick up this number! Someone rang claiming they were from BT, said there was an issue with my broadband. They asked about any blinking lights on my router; I said there weren’t any. Then he wanted me to run a speed test on my computer - I told him I didn’t have one (actually I do, but I knew straight away it was a scam). He pushed me to use the phone I was speaking on to look up speed tests. I told him it was a landline, so no internet browser. That’s when he started telling me to shove the phone where the sun don’t shine! I had to ask him to repeat it ‘cos I thought I’d heard wrong - nope, he said it again, a few times! I asked how someone with that attitude expects me to believe he’s from BT. Then he just cut me off. Really rude bloke, sounded like he was from abroad.
