Rang me twice this morning, but I didn’t pick up.

I received a rather persistent call from someone pretending to be professional. He insisted on speaking to the proprietor of the establishment, but when I informed him that there’s no business operation here and that it's a personal line, he awkwardly inquired if I was the one who pays the bills. It felt like he was dodging my queries entirely. In the end, I chose to hang up.

I’ve been inundated with calls from a company named UK Talk. I’m blocking their various numbers, yet they seem to persistently find a way to contact me via new ones. It baffles me how they’ve managed to acquire my number, especially since I’ve got it set to withheld and I’m ex-directory. I’ve requested them to cease their calls, but they appear to pay no heed whatsoever. I was under the impression there were regulations in place to curb such nuisances!

I've been getting calls from this number claiming they need to do a survey, but honestly it's getting really annoying now. I'd say it's best to just consider it a scam.

The phone showed the call was from Wales at first, but I didn’t answer. Later on, I noticed the recent calls said they were coming from Scotland instead. Seems like a proper scam to me.

I got a call on my phone from a number with the Helmsley Yorkshire code. No one I know lives there or anything. Didn’t pick up and they just hung up without leaving any voicemail. Bit odd really.
