I picked up the phone expecting a chat with one person, but it turned out to be someone else entirely. When I informed them that they had the wrong number, I offered to assist further. However, they simply declined and promptly ended the call. Quite strange, really!

Got two calls from them, each time from a different number, all of which I’ve blocked now. They said I’d registered for info about online trading stuff like Bitcoins. I told the bloke I never signed up for anything like that and that calling me was against GDPR rules. He just insisted I had signed up before hanging up on me. It’s so frustrating that these firms can just get away with this nonsense. I’m definitely sending their details to the ICO.

Got a call from this number, and some really rude lady with an Indian accent started yelling at me, asking straight up for my name. I tried to be polite and asked what company she was ringing from, but she just got all aggressive. I hung up right away and blocked the number. Also made sure to report it to my mobile provider for harassment.

Upon picking up the call, there was a brief silence, and when I didn’t respond, the gentleman on the line, who had a distinctly Eastern or Asian-inflected voice, introduced himself as “Oliver from Virtual Closet.” I chose not to engage further, and shortly after, he ended the call.

I answered by mistake thinking it was someone I knew but the person on the line just ignored me when I said I wasn’t interested, so I hung up and blocked it. Later this afternoon I got three more calls, this time from Scotland. Once these things get going, it’s never just a one-off!
