Got a quick call but didn’t pick up, and they left no voicemail or anything.

Got a call from a number showing as Alloa, Scotland, but it was dead quiet on the other end. They phoned a number that’s on the TPS, which annoyed me straight away. The caller tried to sort some financial claim, but when they called me Jordan instead of my name, Gordon, I had enough and hung up. I tried calling back, but it just said the number wasn’t valid. Seems like a scam with a spoofed number - an Indian call centre pretending to be from Alloa, run by some company called DIDWW Ireland Limited. Sounds fishy to me!

Got a call from PCP Claims, they wanted to discuss a car we owned ages ago. Sounded like they were just sticking to a script.

Beware of these car loan refund scammers, they just don't care about TPS rules and keep calling anyway.

The phone rang and when I picked up, the caller just dropped it straight away. I didn’t say a word, but it feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Lately, whenever my phone rings and there’s no voicemail left, I just assume it’s some sort of scam. It’s gotten to the point where I rarely pick up without that message now.
