Phone number ☎️ 01259764773 👆 is reported as a persistent and intrusive nuisance call, often using a male voice identifying as "Sam" claiming to be a local health worker. The caller asserts knowledge of the recipient’s medical conditions and pushes for signing up to a medical alert device, typically described as a pendant alarm with a daily fee. Many users suspect a scam aimed at vulnerable or elderly individuals, as the caller avoids answering questions about their organisation and relies heavily on scripted dialogue or automated messages. The call frequently involves pressure tactics, talking over the recipient, and refuses to respond to challenges about its legitimacy. It is widely advised not to engage, not to provide personal details, and to block the number to avoid potential fraud or financial risk.

2 yearsThey rang me like six times back to back, kept showing as spam so I just ignored it. They really wouldn't give up though.2 yearsI got a call from this number but all I could hear was complete silence on the other line.2 yearsI got a call from a younger woman, sounded posh and well-spoken, asking if I was the owner of the house. It was one of those unexpected calls, which I’m not keen on at all. Not sure if it was a scam, but with how dodgy things are these days, cold calls just aren’t on, so I just ended it straight away.2 yearsTotal rip off!Fraud2 yearsGot a call from a guy claiming he worked for some medical firm. He kept asking if I could hear him alright, and I just replied “I can” cos I’ve learnt not to say yes or no to stuff like that. When I asked where exactly he was calling from, he wouldn’t say and just went silent then started reading off some script. Ended up hanging up on him. His accent sounded like he was from England.2 yearsPlease dont answer this call, it’s just a trick aimed at folks who have health issues. They try to get you to register for a medical alert device that costs about £1.05 daily. But really, they’re just after your bank details!2 yearsWhat a bother that call was!2 yearsThey didn’t leave any voicemail, so I’m guessing it’s one of those scams. Really appreciate seeing other people’s warnings about this number. Feels like they’re targeting the older and more vulnerable folks.2 yearsGot a call with no one talking on the other side. Weird!2 yearsThis morning I got a call from someone called Sam, who claimed he was contacting folks with health issues. I asked him straight away how he got my number, but he just stayed silent. Then he went on to say he’s calling people over 70 years old. I told him I’m not even 70 and asked him not to call me again.Sam2 yearsGot a phone call from someone saying "I'm Sam, your neighbourhood healthcare worker." Definitely a scammer trying it on.Sam2 yearsIt appears to be a classic phishing attempt. If you happen to have a landline, it’s statistically probable that you’re over 60, which likely means you might have some health concerns. I’ve received a call from a rather charming fellow who introduced himself as Sam, claiming to be affiliated with some Health Centre or asserting he’s a healthcare professional, rambling on incessantly. Sooner or later, someone who is perhaps a bit more vulnerable could be coaxed into accepting what’s touted as a free alarm system, but lo and behold, it’s actually going to set them back £1.70 a day. Tell me, in what reality does a cost of £620 annually equate to being free? These characters should absolutely be locked away! If you dare to ring the number back, it leads you to something called Lifeline Alarms, yet I can assure you, this company doesn’t exist. It’s unmistakably a scam, not just some overly zealous salesperson!SamHealth CentreLifeline Alarms2 yearsI received a rather aggressive call from someone attempting to peddle a medical gadget. They were incredibly insistent and refused to disclose how they managed to obtain my phone number, especially since it’s unlisted. When I pressed them about whether they were linked to a specific business, they became rather evasive. Quite the odd encounter, really!2 yearsGot a missed call and when I rang back, some bloke left a message claiming he was from our local area - mind you, we’re down here in Cornwall. Funny thing is, my brother over in Essex got an identical call. He was being pushed to sign up for some sort of emergency alert necklace with a monthly fee tacked on. Like seriously, who do they think they are, asking for your bank info over the phone for that kind of stuff?CornwallEssex2 yearsGot a voicemail from 01259 764773 but couldn’t quite catch the automated message. Decided to block the number now.2 yearsGot a call from a guy who said I might have some hidden health issues and could really do with one of those emergency call pendants. I told him I’m only 35! He kept going on about how it’d be useful in case I ended up on the floor or needed help fast. I reminded him again I’m 35 and don’t need one. After that, he just abruptly ended the call.2 yearsI just let it go to answer machine. A guy called claiming to be from the local NHS around here, asked me how I was doing. When I didn’t say owt, he just ended the call.2 yearsGot a call from some bloke claiming to be a medical helper for my area, saying I’ve got three health problems and urgently need a medical alert device. Total nonsense! When I said I wasn’t interested, he just talked right over me and wouldn’t admit it was just a sales pitch. Definitely a scam. I just ended the call straight away.2 yearsGot a call from this number again, just like a bunch of others here. The guy claimed he was a nurse working nearby and said my medical files showed I had a health problem that meant I needed a medical alert bracelet. I tried to explain it was wrong but he just kept going, so I ended the call once more. Total rip-off and honestly so annoying!2 yearsSounds like this was one of those automated spam calls, not a real person on the line. The caller claimed to be Sam, saying they were from the NHS and assigned to my postcode. When I asked which specific area, there was a weird silence and they just breezed past the question. They told me I supposedly had some medical issue that required an alert. When I said no, there was another awkward pause before the call just went back to its scripted spiel.SamNHS2 yearsThis number kept ringing me and the caller was so pushy and disrespectful. Every time I tried to speak, he just talked right over me, making it impossible to get a word in. Definitely looks like a scam - would be really worrying for older folks or anyone who's more vulnerable.2 yearsToday, my elderly mother received a phone call from this outfit, purporting that because she's over 60, she qualifies for a costly medical alert system. Mind you, she's actually 90 and already has a free alarm in place! Fortunately, I happened to pick up her phone and when I inquired about the identity of the caller, they refused to divulge any information, insisting instead on pushing their paid service. I quickly ended the conversation and advised my mum to hang up if they dare ring back. Just a word of caution to everyone - do stay vigilant against these con artists!2 yearsGot a call from some guy trying to sell me a pendant. When I asked where he got my number from, he kept dodging the question. He kept pushing to find out my age and stuff, not paying any attention to what I was saying. Just stuck to his scripted patter the whole time. Stay clear of these people!2 yearsHe wouldn’t stop interrupting me, kept talking when I was trying to explain it was my mum’s place and she wasn’t home. Eventually, I just had to hang up.2 yearsThey never left a voicemail and I don't have the number saved, so I'm guessing it was either a sales pitch or some kind of scam.2 yearsGot a call from someone called Sam earlier today. He asked if I could hear him alright, then went on to claim he was working in healthcare and that he already had access to my medical info. He said I needed some sort of wrist alarm device. Thing is, I work as a receptionist and he rang the main switchboard, so there’s no way he knew who’d pick up. Saying he had my medical details was clearly made up. Definitely a scam in my book.Sam2 yearsI’m on the TPS list and yet Sam keeps calling me from numbers like 01887827600 and 01259764773 with some pre-recorded message. It’s definitely a scam, stay clear of them!Sam2 yearsSam, the conman pretending to be a community nurse, keeps going on about how I’m supposedly over 60 (no idea where he got that from, unless I’ve got memory problems and forgot a few birthdays!). He’s insisting that I have health problems that require one of those alarm pendants - something I definitely don’t need or remember agreeing to! Honestly, no way I’m falling for that, Sam. It’s really worrying how some older folks might get tricked by this. The TPS really ought to put a stop to calls from this number!SamThe Telephone Preference Service2 yearsGot a phone call from someone claiming to be a health worker named Sam, but it was clearly a recorded message since my replies didn’t seem to register. They said I qualified for a free medical alert because of my age and health background. I told them flat out, “This is a scam,” and ended the call. I’m well aware these alerts aren’t free - I just set one up for my mum recently.Sam2 yearsI got a voicemail from someone saying they were Sam, a local healthcare worker near me, just checking in and hoping everything’s okay. They didn’t say much else and then just ended the call. Instead, he kept pushing us to purchase an electronic tracker thing, which I reckon was just a sneaky attempt to rip us off.2 yearsSeems like they're targeting folks over 70 with some sort of medical scam. Definitely watch out for these dodgy calls!2 yearsI chose not to pick up this call since the number didn’t ring any bells for me. It ended up going straight to voicemail, where I heard a rather vague 'Um . . .' before the line went dead. I highly doubt that a genuine caller would leave such a flimsy message.2 yearsA bloke rang me claiming to be a "health visitor" from the area. He told me they knew about a potential health problem I had and said I qualified for a no-cost medical alert device. He even said something like, "You wouldn't want to have an accident or fall and not get help, right?" I immediately thought it was dodgy and just hung up. I’m perfectly fine health-wise! If my late dad had answered, he probably would’ve believed it, since we’d talked about getting a medical alert gadget for him before.2 yearsJust like every other time, I got a prerecorded message from some bloke called Sam trying to push a health pendant on me because apparently I’m over 60 and have loads of health issues. Thing is, I’m only 29 and as healthy as they come. I let the message play out, sneezing now and then to make it sound like I was paying attention. When he asked for my full address, I gave nothing back. After that, all I heard was random office chatter and then the line went dead. I politely informed him that I’m already well looked after by my doctors, and then promptly blocked the number.Local Health Authority2 yearsThis number rang my home phone recently, and like others have mentioned, the guy who answered sounded like his name was Sam. He was trying to tell me that due to some health issue, I ought to get a personal alarm to notify someone if I felt unwell. Felt like one of those dodgy scams aimed at older folks.2 yearsI keep getting calls from numbers like this one, and the caller always opens with, "Can you hear me?" They’re just after a recorded "Yes" from you, so it’s best to avoid saying it. Instead, try replying with something like "Loud and clear" or "You’re telling me," which tends to throw them off for a bit. Usually, they’ll ask a few more times to get you to say yes, but if you’re not in a rush, it can be quite entertaining. Glad to hear they’re finally looking into these calls.2 yearsSome bloke named Sam said he was a health worker. When I tried calling back and asked to talk to an actual person, they just hung up on me. Proper annoying.2 yearsGot a call from some automated voice pretending to be a human, talking about a medical alert tag. It kept asking me stuff, then went quiet with loads of 'ummm' in between. One question hinted they thought I was over 60, so they offered a free device, but charged £1.70 a day. I told them I’m actually under 60, and there was a long pause before it insisted ‘our records must be right’. Had to laugh at that one!2 yearsI got a call from someone called Sam who claimed to be from my local area, but I’m definitely not in Scotland. He wouldn’t really answer anything I asked and just kept going through some script. He even said he had access to my medical records, which is total rubbish. The caller said they were from the local health department and it was clear they were aiming at older folks or those with health problems. They spoke really slowly and loudly, pausing all the time like they wanted to make sure you caught every word. The guy kept emphasising how dangerous it would be not to have some kind of medical alert system if you had health issues or worried about falls. I can see how this would really scare elderly people who don't know better.2 yearsSeems like a scam to me - the guy rang up and first just asked if I could hear him alright, which I said yes to.
