Got a call from a nearby number saying there was a £1500 transfer from my account abroad and to press 1 if I wanted to check it. I looked over my bank accounts and everything seemed fine. Then I phoned my bank using the number on their website, and they told me it was a scam. Apparently someone else had rung them just the day before about a similar thing, but it was about payments to Amazon.
