Got a call from a Glaswegian lady who sounded proper rough, saying something about "we've got some funds set aside." I just hung up straight away. I'm on the TPS, so they really shouldn't be ringing me.

I got a call from someone called John yesterday, said hello and when I said I wasn’t interested he just ended it. Then today he rings back and right away starts asking about the size of my windows. It’s a cold call, why else would they be ringing? I told him I’m not interested in any of their ‘info’ and if they call again I’m reporting them to the authorities.

Got a cold call from someone doing market research, asked for their phone number and they just said they weren’t allowed to share it. Thought these calls were supposed to be clamped down on by now. I’m in the UK, so not sure why the authorities aren’t cracking down on this. Told them a few choice words before hanging up. Called BT on 1572 and added the number to my blacklist.

They claimed to be from First Home Solutions. These people/scammers have been ringing me non stop the last few months. I told them I wasn't interested and asked to be taken off their call list. The guy on the phone was really pushy so I just hung up on him.

home solutions are a pain. if you’ve got a bt line, just ring 1572 and punch in BTCALLPROTECT. it blocks their number for free. you can also add other numbers right after you get an annoying call. super handy!

I got a call from this number earlier today but took a bit to pick up, and then the line just went quiet. Looking at what others have said, I've had them ring me up loads of times, and they kept pushing to come round and measure my place for new energy-saving windows. When I said no, they got quite nasty and kept ringing back with different people every time. I just stopped picking up eventually, but since I don’t have a caller ID, I was caught out a few times.

SCAM ANNOYANCE FAKE Sorry for the shouting but honestly, what else can I say? Got called 12 times over 3 days from the same number. A woman with a South East England accent who rudely demanded to know how old my double glazing was. At first, I thought it was the hospital, so I had to ask her to slow down and repeat herself. I asked where she found my number and she just said it was on their database. I thought this new GDPR thing was meant to protect us? Now I keep my answerphone on all the time and only bother answering if I know who's calling. If they hang up, their loss really.

I couldnt catch the name of the firm coz the bloke spoke super fast. The call were just like the others people mentioned here. He said thanks for picking up and asked for the homeowner, then I just hung up and did a 1471. I dont get why these scammers are still roaming free, when the UK gov can lock up Tommy Robinson in hours even when he wasnt doing anything wrong. Surely some politician or official has some kind of benefit from letting these cold calling scams go on or it would have been stopped ages ago.

Had this annoying cold call about some big money deal to make my house more energy efficient - they didn’t even know who I was. I just said no but they kept talking over me. Being on the TPS doesn’t seem to help with these calls. Really hopeful the new law coming in will finally put an end to these pestering cold calls.

Such a nuisance! I was on a night shift trying to get some sleep and these idiots keep ringing me up with their sales pitch. I didn’t hold back and gave them a bit of ‘colourful language’ telling them to buzz off! We’ve got GDPR to protect our info and it actually means something, so why hasn’t the government cracked down on these annoying telemarketers? The TPS is pointless, mainly because it’s managed by the very companies that do these calls. It’s about time they scrapped it and put someone in charge who actually means business.

A young bloke with a Scottish accent from Lothian called and thanked me for picking up the phone, said it wasn’t a sales pitch (which honestly just made me more wary) and went on about grants or some cash to warm up my home. I told him we’re on the TPS and asked why he was calling me out of the blue, where he’d got my number from. He just kept wittering on and talking over me until I had to raise my voice and ask again. Then he went silent, so I told him the call was unwanted and ended it.

I couldn’t find any info about that company in Alloa on google, so I reckon it might be a new fake name linked to Thermal Homes like others have mentioned before.
