Got the typical automated call from BT with that American accent saying my internet was about to be cut off because it had been hacked in loads of countries - complete rubbish. I blocked the number straight away on our landline, and honestly, the blocked list is getting ridiculously long. Why can’t the authorities just take these scammers down properly? My 93-year-old dad gets these calls too, and even though we tell him not to, he sometimes rings them back if he doesn’t know the number. It’s so frustrating and honestly, a bit worrying as well.
