Received a rather dubious message this morning purporting to be from Amazon, concerning my Prime subscription. The automated voice informed me that my account would automatically renew using my linked payment card, and suggested that I press 1 to speak with a representative for further details or to halt the transaction. Make no mistake, this is clearly a scam, and I wouldn’t trust this number one bit. It is definitely not affiliated with Amazon!

I received a rather dodgy automated message purporting to be from Amazon Prime, stating that my subscription would be auto-renewed for £79.99 in the forthcoming week. It instructed me to call 1 if I wanted to avoid this charge. However, I didn’t bother calling as the phone number that received this message has no association with any account of mine. Clearly, it's nothing more than a scam.
