Someone rang up saying they were from Virgin Media, claiming my broadband router was full of rubbish. I asked who was on the account, and he gave my husband's name. I told him that wasn’t right, so he just said goodbye and ended the call. Quite polite for a scammer, since they usually just drop the line straight away. Still, I know Virgin only speak to the person named on the account, and that’s not my husband!
