Some bloke with an Asian accent rang up saying he was from Windows and I had to update my details or get blocked. I told him that Windows never ring people and that it was obviously a scam, then I just hung up. He didn’t hang about and called back right away. I warned him I’d hang up again. He rang a third time but I let it go to the answerphone, though he said nothing.

Got a call from a landline, a bloke with an Asian accent who kicked off by saying "Eco." I cut him off and asked what city he was ringing from. He claimed Birmingham, but I told him that wasn’t true and he just hung up then and there. Looks like it could be one of those dodgy insulation scams. The number showed as 01258927059.

On Tuesday 29th November at around 10.30 in the morning, I got a phone call but when I picked up, there was just silence and then the call got cut off. I’m guessing it’s one of those multi dialler setups where if you don’t respond quickly, they just hang up and try the next number. Most likely the scammer only wants to talk to the first person who picks up.
