Received a call from a chap claiming to be George Matheus, who insisted I had an issue with my computer. I informed him that I don’t actually possess a computer, and then he promptly disconnected the line. Clearly, it’s just another scammer trying to prey on those who might be easily led to grant access to their devices.

I picked up and some stranger with a weird accent was asking for my name. I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call tonight from someone with an asian accent asking for my son by his first name. When i asked what it was about, the guy said it was something urgent about my son's computer. Thing is, my lad doesn't even live here and he aint got a computer. I kept asking who he was but he just ended the call.

Had a right dodgy call from some muppet with a thick foreign accent, claiming there was an issue with my wife's computer. I couldn't help but chuckle and asked, "Which computer are you on about, mate?" That seemed to rattle him, as he promptly hung up. When I tried to call back, the operator informed me, "The number you’ve dialled doesn’t exist." Honestly, it's clear this is just another inept scammer wandering about, preying on the unsuspecting, particularly the elderly. We really ought to keep our eyes peeled for these chancers and ensure they face the music!

Claimed his name was Jim and mentioned I had a computer infection. When I inquired about the make of my computer, he responded that it operated on Windows. I pressed further for specifics on which version of Windows, and then he abruptly ended the call. I attempted to return the call, only to find that the number was unrecognised. Quite suspicious, I must say!
