Got a phone call from some guy with an Indian accent trying to sell solar panels, definitely an energy scam. When I told him to put me on the do-not-call list, he actually responded with something like, "Is that all you have to say? No thanks or anything?" Seriously, the nerve these people have! Absolutely unbelievable.

Someone saying they were from Talk Talk tech support rang me up. They wanted me to turn my PC on to "fix" some internet issues. Totally a scam, no way was I falling for that.

Got a call again from Talk Talk but this time a totally new number. Since Christmas, they've called me seven times, each one coming from a different number. When I told this woman, who sounded foreign, that she wasn’t really calling from Talk Talk, she just hung up. Pretty clear it’s just another scam attempt.

Got a call just after half two today from a woman claiming to be Jenny, saying she was from the TPS, the Telephone Preference Service. She asked if all my annoying calls had stopped. I requested the TPS contact number, which she quickly gave as 03450700707. But things felt off when she started asking for my debit card expiry date. Felt like a scam straight away. She mentioned she'd ring back after six when I'd supposedly have my card handy. Definitely raised my suspicions.
