Reports on phone number 01258746287
8 yearsEvery now and then, I find myself inundated with unsolicited calls. Recently, I decided to start jotting down the numbers to keep track of their frequency. Being well aware of phone scams, I initially told the callers to stop ringing me as I knew it was a con. However, that didn’t seem to put them off; they just kept trying their luck. Nowadays, I’ve taken to informing them that I have a tracker on my phone to monitor incoming calls. Almost instantly, the line goes silent before I’ve even finished my little speech! I've also noted a couple of other numbers that have been harassing me: 023656695641 and 00390495975067. From what I recall, some of the calls claimed that my internet security was at risk. The last time one of these pests rang, my daughter answered. She told them about the supposed tracker on the phone, and wouldn’t you know it, the line went dead! She wasn’t able to share what they were on about before the abrupt end of the call.8 yearsGot a call from 01258 746287 but there was nothing but silence on the other end. Very strange!8 yearsgot a voicemail from a woman speaking chinese, kept saying hello over and over again. really weird.8 yearsI received a phone call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from the technical department of BT. She insisted that my internet connection and IP address were somehow being accessed by someone else. When I mentioned that I preferred to reach out to BT's official help line on my own, she urged me to ring 0800800152. Upon looking into it, that number appears to be associated with a scam pretending to belong to BT's business services. I highly recommend not returning the call.BT8 yearsthey rang but didn’t say anything or leave a message. just hung up on me.8 yearsI got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, claiming to be from BT’s technical team. She said someone was using my internet and my IP address without permission. She kept pushing that she needed to help straight away. When I told her I’d contact BT myself and wouldn’t share any personal info with strangers on the phone, she gave me a number to ring: 0800800152. After a quick look, that number appears to be linked to a scam pretending to be from BT business. Definitely don’t ring it back!BT8 yearsi told this lady, who obviously wasn't called alex, that bt doesnt even have a division called "the technical department". then she just ended the call on me.AlexBT8 yearsReceived a call supposedly from BT saying my phone line was hacked or something. Total rubbish, just ended the call straight away. Don't fall for it.BT8 yearsAs soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just dropped the call right away.8 yearsGot a robocall saying my internet was at risk and to hit 1 for a BT engineer or 2 for other providers. I just ended the call and blocked the number on my BT blacklist straight away.8 yearsI've had the same lot calling me repeatedly, claiming to be from Talk Talk, insisting there's an issue with my computer. Just today, I've received four of these calls! Each time, I've informed them it's all a load of nonsense, and they hang up on me rather abruptly. It's really quite infuriating; I wish there were a way to reach them and give them a piece of my mind!Submit Your Own Report (01258 746287)
