I got a call from a number claiming to be Tesco, saying my brand new mobile was ready and that they’d be taking over £300 from my account. Thing is, I never ordered any phone! They then wanted me to log in on my laptop, but I said no way and told them my daughter would contact Tesco instead. After that, they just hung up. I’m 84 and honestly, this kind of thing really scares me.
