8 yearsIn just a couple of days, I've gotten five calls all starting with the 01258 code (Blanford Forum and nearby). Each call came from a different number, which is odd since I’ve never had calls like this before. Four times, they said they were from TalkTalk, and once someone pretended to be a family member. A few of them had quite a thick Indian accent. I’m blocking all the numbers now but reckon they could be fake and part of some scam group operating from who knows where.Blandford ForumTalkTalk8 yearsgot a call from a woman who sounded asian, claiming she was part of bt's tech support. as soon as i asked her name, she just ended the call. obviously one of those overseas scams again. sad thing is, this call doesn't meet the usual rules for reporting nuisance calls. so i just blocked the number.BT8 yearsThey’ve rang me three times all this afternoon, each time with a different last number on the caller ID. Luckily, I’ve got caller ID on, so I blocked the number from Blandford. Definitely a scammer trying their luck.Blandford8 yearsThey said they were from TalkTalk, but that’s definitely not true. TalkTalk’s call centres are spread across the UK, so this wasn’t one of theirs. I just blocked the number, which is what I’d recommend doing.TalkTalkUK8 yearsI looked into it and called TalkTalk to check, and they said it isn’t them. Turns out it’s a scammer trying to grab your bank info using a VPN with a US IP. So I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.TalkTalkSubmit Your Own Report (01258 396379)
