Phone number ☎️ 01257825056 👆 is reported as a persistent scam call frequently claiming to be from O2, offering fake discounts or upgrades. Callers may know personal details and push for sensitive info or account recovery codes. Many report foreign accents, rude behaviour and use of multiple numbers. Some claim links to other networks like EE or Three or Carphone Warehouse, but calls are unsolicited and suspicious. Despite blocking, calls continue, often with attempts to trick recipients into sharing info. Users frequently warn about the need to report these scams to police cybercrime units, as blocking alone seems ineffective. Calls often come from spoofed or fake UK numbers, and aggressive or unclear callers hang up when challenged. Overall, a well-documented, widespread fraudulent operation targeting phone customers.

4 yearsI picked up the phone, but they disconnected the call straight away.4 yearsI had a rather dodgy experience with a so-called O2 representative who claimed he could secure me a fabulous 30% off my mobile plan. After realising it was just a trickster with a heavy accent, I promptly added the number to my block list. Altogether, I received eleven calls from this charlatan! Clearly, it was nothing more than a scam attempt.4 yearsGot a call from 01257 825056 saying they were from Three trying to sell me an upgrade, but I’m not even a Three customer. Told them to stop ringing me as it’s been happening loads. When I asked where they got my details and to remove me from their list, they just told me to f*** off. Hung up and blocked the number straight away.4 yearsOn 1st April and in the 15 posts following, you’ll find clear instructions on how to use the police’s system designed to make it straightforward for everyone to report scam calls, texts, emails, and other types of fraud. I only got given this info after I raised the issue of constant scam calls with my MP. These scammers really try hard to keep this hidden from us. If you don’t officially report these scams, don’t expect much to be done about it. Sending complaints to 7726, your mobile provider, or the companies the scammers pretend to be won’t actually get passed on to the police.4 yearsToday I got a call claiming to give me a discount for O2. They sent me a code by text saying it was some sort of activation code, but the message actually said it was for account recovery and that I shouldn’t share it with anyone, even people who work for O2. This is a unique code tied to my account. If you’re ever unsure, ring O2 on their official number from their website. After I didn’t comply, they rang again from a couple of different numbers, and honestly they sounded pretty legit, asking about my services and that sort of thing. Be careful!4 yearsThis person said they were from O2 and claimed I was registered with them, but I have never used O2 and am actually with a different phone provider. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.4 yearsI usually don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know, so I didn’t pick up. I checked it out on here and turns out it’s just a billing scam.4 yearsGot a call from Chorley saying they were EE. Don’t see why EE would ring a landline number though. I only heard the start where they mentioned a discount on my bills, then I hung up straight away. Feels like a total scam to me.ChorleyEE4 yearsMy phone showed a call from Chorley, England, but I decided not to answer since I never pick up numbers I don’t recognise.ChorleyEngland4 yearsThis sounds like it might be some sort of scam.4 yearsGot a call from this number saying they was O2 and could give me a 30% off my phone bill for a year as a “thank you” for being loyal. What freaked me out was that they already had my address and bank sort code/account number - no idea how, coz I never gave them that info! They then asked for my card details, so I hung up straight away. I’ve told O2 about it and updated all my passwords just to be safe.
